What is AWS?

AWS stands for (Amazon Web Service)

is a secure cloud services platform, offering to compute power, database storage, content delivery, and other functionality to help businesses scale and grow. Running web and application servers in the cloud to host dynamic websites.

AWS is a server that is easy to manage

Just imagine that it is VMWare, VirtualBox, that is, it can create a new OS from the same machine indefinitely. But the best part is it can be added as unlimited Because the resources needed are enormous. So how many Windows it will create, how many Linux can create and keep going As long as we have money to pay.

Pay the same amount as you actually use Turn off the device

The world was stunned once because AWS was charging us. Only when we boot it up and work only when we shut down, they will not charge us. (In the event that storage EBS is not separated from EC2), so spend a lot. Don’t use it, don’t pay.

AWS has more than just servers

That is, outside of us, we can now go in and create a new server. We can create many other things, such as creating a database to use without having to install OS and install any database, or create a firewall or create a switch by yourself, just by clicking and filling.

People like to call it a Cloud.

I am not talking about the cloud, but of course, it is a cloud service because we take our data up to where it is not known on the internet and let it work. (Most Thai people will use AWS in Singapore because it is the closest point to Thailand), of course, you can call AWS Cloud.

AWS operates clearly separately from Amazon.

I must say that AWS was formerly a division of Amazon, but it was later set up as a company. And manage the work independently The growth is still very high every year, but the work is almost completely separate.

AWS says that the most feared future is Still buying a server because now we can start building applications and deploy jobs to AWS without having to know much about server infrastructure and not needing investment as many projects run. Not long ago When we made it up, ran a task until the end, and then we closed it. Some jobs may require a server with a price of several million baht, but using EC2 may pay a few hundred thousand baht. When it ceases to use, it closes completely, so it doesn’t have to be an investment of a million baht, etc.

AWS is very beneficial if you know how to use it.

It has many tools for us to use, very useful to us because many tools will save energy. And save a lot of money. For example, we can use https wildcard with our domain right away. Which we put in with ELB and it is free in terms of SSL as well, or open Redis to use without installing anything. Backup/restore is very easy.
