How I felt with my first solo
The solo project was a good challenge for me. I had to come up with my own idea and make it something I would enjoy working on.

I started this project early and did a lot of research. I decided to do Thai alphabet flashcards because I would love to present my culture and where I came from. It was fun to see people enjoy my app and my native language.

In my project, you will study flashcards of all 44 letters of the Thai alphabet and
you will be able to flip the cards and listen to how the letters sound. During the action of flipping the card, you will need to click on the speaker to hear the sound. That was very challenging for me. It took me a couple of days to figure this out, but I enjoyed putting in the work to make this detail happen.

In my opinion, completing this solo project made me check myself. How much can I do? How far can I go? What are my strengths and weaknesses? I want to continue to work on this app and add more to it and show an excellent product. I learned if you can do the vertical slices and finish slice by slice that is the best way. This also keeps you enjoying the work as it feels like you are playing a game. You have to finish the mission by mission before you move to the next one.

After finishing the flashcards, my goal is for the person playing the app to have an auditory and visual connection to help aid memorization.
My first solo project was amazing. It’s a good start and something to build off of and a good way to give myself confidence in knowing how much I can do, and how I can do better.
